Privacy Policy

HangarSurvey.com is operated by Hangar Ops ("we," "us"), 40 Lindbergh Lane, Fletcher, NC. This policy explains what we collect through the National Hangar Waitlist Survey, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Survey answers: the airport(s) where you are waiting for hangar space, the wait you were told, aircraft type and optional make and model, number of aircraft, hangar type wanted, where your aircraft is kept now, your interest in a new hangar, and the type of operator you are. Answers are saved as you move through the survey, so partly completed surveys may be kept.
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, and, if you choose, mobile phone number.
- Consent records: whether you agreed to receive emails or text messages, the wording you agreed to, the date and time, and your IP address at that moment.
- Technical information: your IP address and browser type, used to prevent abuse. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser may store your survey progress on your own device so you don't lose your place.
How we use it
- To show you survey results and send you the results you asked for.
- To produce combined statistics about hangar demand by airport, state, and nationally.
- If you opt in, to email you the Hangar Waitlist Report and occasional Hangar Ops updates, or to text you about hangar availability.
- To contact you about hangar space at the airport(s) you named, if you indicated interest in a new hangar.
What we share
- Combined results only. Public results and reports we share with airports, developers, and others show totals, never individual answers. An airport's own numbers are shown publicly only once it has at least 5 responses.
- We never sell your information. We do not share your name or contact details with an airport or any other third party without your permission.
- Service providers that run the site for us and may process data on our behalf: Hostinger (website hosting and database), Zoho ZeptoMail and Zoho Campaigns (email delivery), and Google Fonts (typefaces loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address).
- When required by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Email and text messages
Email updates are sent only if you check the email box. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor requests promptly. Text messages are sent only if you check the text box; consent is not required to complete the survey. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by calling (855) 426-4270 or writing to us at the address above. Deleting your information removes your answers from future results.
How long we keep it
We keep survey answers while the survey is running so results stay accurate, and contact details until you ask us to delete them or they are no longer needed for the purposes above.
Security
The site uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, and access to responses is limited to authorized Hangar Ops staff through a password-protected dashboard. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
This survey is intended for aircraft owners and operators. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Location
The survey covers U.S. airports and our data is stored in the United States.
Do Not Track
We do not track you across other websites, so browser "Do Not Track" signals do not change how this site works.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
